Charlie Munger is one of the most celebrated thinkers in the world. Studying him introduced me to this concept of mental models and learning a little bit about the principles behind a lot of things.
If you’re not familiar with mental models, here is the definition via Wikipedia
A mental model is an explanation of someone’s thought process about how something works in the real world. It is a representation of the surrounding world, the relationships between its various parts and a person’s intuitive perception about his or her own acts and their consequences.
Gabriel Weinberg took the time to share about 150 of the mental models he uses most. This is an awesome read if you’re looking to get lost in learning and thinking for a few minutes OR an afternoon.
